What You'll Learn

The program is made up of milestones, or challenge-based steps where you’ll gain hands-on experience and master a concept before moving on and eventually completing the entire challenge. Have a look at what you'll accomplish over this 3-week program in each milestone.

1
Create assumptions
To be successful, you need to first understand the key elements are to being successful. This includes the chances as well as the risks. A great starting point for this is the business model canvas. In this milestone, you will define your hypothesis for success.
2
Develop your financial model
Based on the assumptions you have made in milestone 1, you will now need to create a financial model, which reflects a forecast of your business over a certain time period.
3
Optimizing the business
Now you have a first understanding of how your business will develop and you are able to understand the impact of the different assumptions. How can we now increase our confidence in making assumptions and decision-making? Every time we have a proof point, the risk of failing is minimized.
4
Raise money to make your project a reality
In this milestone, you will learn to identify relevant investors and learn how to approach and contact them.
5
Get ready to present at the challenge discussion
Learn to pitch your financial model, hypothesis, and validation methods to investors.
6
Challenge discussion
You will learn about the different perspectives on fundraising. To start, you will present your financial model, hypothesis, and validation methods. Next, you will listen to the other students, and take the role of an investor. Finally, you'll be asked to critically think. Are you convinced by their pitch? What questions do you have for them?
7
Video pitch
You're almost finished. Now that you have your model, you will create a video pitch of your project, presenting the essence of your financial model, and a go-to-market roadmap including the key steps you would/will take on this journey.
