You Won't Study Alone Here

Online learning has a reputation for being isolating. A screen, a syllabus, and not much else. At Tomorrow University thats different. Here is what our learners say.

A room full of people who get it

We asked our learners what the community actually feels like from the inside. One of the first things that came up: the people around them are different from any academic environment they'd been in before.

"Everyone here is incredibly motivated and engaged, which I couldn't say about my peers in my Bachelor's program at a normal university. Everyone's friendly and helpful, and I'm feeling inspired to be part of it."

That feeling comes up again and again. The community spans more than 95 nationalities and includes professionals working at Tesla, Microsoft, Deloitte, PwC, and Nike, alongside founders, sustainability leads, career changers, and people who left stable jobs to build something that matters. What pulls them together isn't their background. It's what they care about.

"ToU's collaborative atmosphere and openness make it a supportive environment for learning and reflection."

Built for connection

Community at Tomorrow University is integrated in the learning process. Learners work through real challenges together from day one, connect weekly in live sessions, and stay in touch through an active Slack community between sessions.

"The community is very positive and open, warm, and takes the time to listen and reflect. It helps to find fellow students and stay in contact with them regularly. This motivates you to keep going, even when you feel a little lost studying remotely."

Four times a year, the community meets in person. Immersions in cities across Europe, from Berlin to Barcelona, Vienna to Amsterdam, bring learners, mentors, and staff together. They are completely optional, but for many learners, these are the moments that turn online connections into real friendships.

"Very warm community. The immersions are great to stay involved."

The people you meet along the way

Part of what makes this community different is who you find yourself next to. Mentors and ambassadors who are actively working on the problems you care about join as real participants, not guest lecturers. Verena Pausder, Chairwoman of the German Startup Association. Lubomila Jordanova, Founder and CEO of Plan A. Tim Schumacher, Founder of WorldFund.

"No matter who I am in contact with, everyone is ALWAYS approachable. The way how appreciative and human we are interacting with each other is remarkable to me. I know that everyone supports everybody."
"I met wonderful students, entrepreneurs, professors, and I made a few friends. I never felt lonely in terms of community, and there is always SO MUCH to do, led by students."

What learners say when it's over

We could tell you what the community does for your career. But the quotes that stay with us are the ones about what it felt like to be part of it.

"It's a diverse, curious and extremely positive community which was the core of the last 2 years."
"It was the best decision for me. I learned so much about myself and about life."

And this one, which says more than any marketing copy ever could:

"I am very sad that it is over now."
