This scholarship supports individuals passionate about sustainability and committed to driving environmental and social change through responsible leadership.

Sustainability Impact Scholarship

Criteria:

Clear mission centered around creating positive change across the society, environment and economy.
Record of participation in initiatives focused on sustainability and positive impact like projects, ventures, or volunteering, activism, associations, clubs OR tangible impact created.
Clearly defined field of involvement (e.g. environmental cause).
A plan of how the applicant will engage within and beyond the ToU community.

Application Process:

Video or letter of motivation: Submit either a video or letter of motivation elaborating on how you meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria. On average, we advise 5 minutes for the video or 600 words, telling us why you are the ideal candidate for this scholarship and how you exemplify its essence.
CV: Submit your CV to give us a glimpse on your previous educational or professional background.

Applicant must be a member of an underrepresented or marginalized group (including but not limited to underrepresented racial populations, women, LGBTQI, low income, individuals with disabilities, etc.)
Applicant shows record of academic excellence and proof of hard work in prior education.
A plan of how the applicant will engage within and beyond the ToU community.

60 ECTS
- Prior ECTS required: 210 ECTS minimum
- Work experience: min 5 years, ideally with leadership experience
- Ideal for: Senior Professionals with a strong academic background

- Prior ECTS required: 180 ECTS minimum
- Work experience: min 2 years
- Ideal for: Professionals with a Bachelor’s degree and solid work experience

120 ECTS
- Prior ECTS required: 180 ECTS minimum or vocational training + training experience
- Work experience: min 2 years
- Ideal for: early-career professionals or applicants with vocational training

All applicants must demonstrate at least two years of professional experience. One year must be proven at the start of the program, and the second year must be proven by graduation.
Sufficient English language proficiency is required, at a minimum B2 level according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Applicants must show strong motivation, demonstrated through the application form and evaluated during the admission process.
An admission interview is mandatory to assess eligibility and alignment with the program.

Admission without an Undergraduate Degree

Applicants may qualify without an undergraduate degree if they have successfully completed a minimum of a two-year, recognized vocational training program in Germany, accompanied by several years of relevant professional experience. This requires passing the ToU IMBA Entrance Exam.
The vocational training must result in a diploma or degree, typically earned over two or three years, and demonstrate a focus on preparing for a specific trade or professional career. Short-term certifications or one-year training programs do not qualify.

Policy on ECTS Credits and Graduation Requirements

To graduate with an MBA, learners must achieve a total of 300 ECTS by the end of the program.
For those with a 180 ECTS bachelor’s degree entering the 90 ECTS IMBA, 30 ECTS will be credited from professional experience.
In exceptional cases, learners with a 210 ECTS bachelor’s degree entering the 60 ECTS IMBA may have 30 additional ECTS recognized from professional experience, provided they have at least five years of relevant work experience, including leadership experience.
Professional experience credited as ECTS must be closely related to MBA topics, with a preference for leadership roles. This extra experience must be in addition to the standard two-year professional experience requirement.
Applicants with higher academic achievements (e.g., a 180 ECTS bachelor’s degree and a 120 ECTS master’s degree) may fulfill the 300 ECTS requirement through their previous studies.

Can you provide me with a visa to study in Germany?

The German Immigration Office requires students to attend in-person classes in Germany to be eligible for a student visa. Since our programs are 100% online and do not require physical attendance, you are not eligible for a German student visa through Tomorrow University.
