A Global Career Rooted in Purpose

With over 25 years in Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability, Kathryn has built a global career leading teams, shaping strategy, and driving innovation through change. She’s led international growth at companies like Microsoft, where she scaled cloud adoption across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Australia, and later as VP of Global Sales at SkyKick based out of Europe. Over time, her focus has shifted from driving purely commercial growth to using that experience to help mission-driven companies scale their impact.

“I firmly believe that we can succeed as a collective when we think big and work together to solve earth’s challenges.”

Defining Moments and Building Blocks

Co-founding Swap Studio—a circular fashion platform promoting conscious consumerism—showed her the power of community-led change. Born in Australia, her love for the ocean led her to Kelp Blue, a marine biotech company growing seaweed to restore ocean ecosystems. There, she discovered the perfect intersection of strategy and sustainability, applying her commercial expertise to environmental innovation. Today she supports eco-entrepreneurs to develop and scale their commercial strategies for impact.

Choosing Tomorrow University: Learning with Purpose

Kathryn joined Tomorrow University to deepen her knowledge in sustainability and the role of emerging technologies like AI in driving change. She was drawn to the university’s practical, purpose-driven approach and its global community of like-minded changemakers, people united by a shared goal of building a better, more sustainable future. “ToU allowed me to structure my vision and find a network of peers who inspire me daily, she explains. Kathryn’s studies helped her crystallize a personal mission: to empower organizations to be catalysts for positive impact. She believes in the power of the collective, that when we think bit and work together we can solve the planet’s toughest challenges. Today, she applies this mission in her consulting work, guiding companies to integrate sustainability into their core strategies.
